No judgment. No rigid rules.

Just real-life health.

My philosophy is simple: wellness should support your life, not consume it.

My Story:

A few years ago, I felt lost and overwhelmed. I kept adding on more load - a primary care practice, kids, managing a household, caring for aging parents, and trying to manage my own health and wellness. I ended up in a hole of exhaustion and overwhelm, unsure how to dig myself out to regain my energy. Big diet overhauls and the newest workout fad weren’t helping, they just caused more overwhelm.

Eventually, I started building up my healthy habits a little at a time.

  • Increasing my water intake

  • Creating a realistic strength training routine

  • Finding meal prep tips and tricks that worked for me

It wasn’t one big thing, but a series of really small steps over time that led to my “disciplined” and “so healthy” routine. The best part is when it’s part of your routine, it’s not hard, it’s habit!

As a physician double board-certified in Internal and Lifestyle Medicine, I’ve seen firsthand how the traditional healthcare system often misses the mark when it comes to sustainable change. We’re told what to do, but rarely how to do it in the context of a high-pressure life.

I founded AllieMD Coaching to give women a different roadmap—one that combines medical science with practical, sustainable shifts.

My commitment to you:

  • I will never give you an all-or-nothing plan.

  • I will always offer direct, realistic advice that fits your lifestyle.

  • I will stand by you as a practical partner in your wellness journey.

I also have a direct primary care practice in Maine where I see a small number of patients.

Please note: AllieMD Coaching is a separate wellness service and does not provide clinical medical care.

When I'm not coaching or doctoring, you'll find me:

  • On the sideline of a sports game (little league, soccer, or basketball probably) cheering on my boys

  • Enjoying the great outdoors here in Maine (hiking, spending time by the lake, gardening - at least trying to!, or snowshoeing and trying to stay warm in the winter!)

  • Playing around with GF cooking and baking (hello GF sourdough!)

  • Possibly crocheting or knitting to keep my hands busy and my mind serene

  • Reading a fun book - I enjoy books about health and habits (no surprise there) or fun fiction where I can escape for a bit.
